Ken Agyapong doesn’t have the temperament to lead a party or even be president – Netizen

A netizen has criticized Kennedy Agyapong's presidential ambitions. Agyapong is a former Member of Parliament for Assin Central. He recently had a public argument with Kwame Baffoe, known as Abronye DC.

The netizen stated that Agyapong lacks the temperament to lead a party. They wrote on X, “He just doesn’t have the temperament to lead a political party or even be president in Ghana, let’s be honest.”

On April 28, 2025, during the NPP's "Thank You Tour," tensions rose between Agyapong and Abronye DC. Abronye addressed allegations against him regarding political plots before last year's internal elections. He claimed he was accused of supporting Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the presidency.

Abronye questioned those preaching unity within the NPP. He argued that these individuals had previously caused division in the party. He also rejected Agyapong's idea to grant amnesty to suspended members.

Abronye stated that granting amnesty would promote indiscipline within the party. He emphasized that discipline is essential for their success. He criticized those who insult others but later seek unity.

Kennedy Agyapong reacted strongly to Abronye's comments, feeling personally attacked. He described Abronye as a poor man who speaks without thinking.

Agyapong said, “Nobody is better than another, but some act like they are.” He accused some members of begging for money while pretending to be strong leaders.

He added that he respects people but won’t respond to certain provocations. Agyapong concluded by asserting his financial independence and questioning others' boldness.

The exchange highlights ongoing tensions within the NPP as they prepare for future elections.
