Ken Agyapong paid NDC media houses to publish Agyapadia’s document to hurt Bawumia – Abronye

Kwame Baffoe, known as Abronye DC, is the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He has accused Kennedy Agyapong, a former presidential candidate aspirant, of paying NDC media houses. This payment was allegedly to publish Agyapadia's document against Akufo-Addo’s family.

Abronye DC claims that Agyapong aimed to provoke Ghanaians. He wanted them to turn against Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP in the 2024 elections. Speaking on Movement TV, he said, “You should ask Kennedy Agyapong how he met NDC media houses.”

He further criticized Agyapong and threatened to leave the NPP. Abronye stated he would fight Agyapong with his blood if necessary. He mentioned that after an earlier attack from Agyapong, they had reconciled briefly.

However, Abronye claims the attacks resumed recently. He expressed readiness to confront Agyapong over his statements about the NPP. “I will show him I’m more of a man than he is,” he declared.

Abronye also accused Agyapong of using his wealth to control the party. He believes this has silenced poorer members within the NPP. “I will fight him until he regrets picking a fight with me,” Abronye added.

The controversial 38-page Agyapadia document lacks a recognized author. It features Okyenhene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin on its cover photo. The document suggests a plan for total state capture by powerful individuals of Akyem descent.

Its goal appears to be establishing the Akyem kingdom as dominant in Ghana.
