The Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications and the Digital Chamber of Ghana have announced a leadership change. Their Chief Executive Officer, Ing. Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey, stepped down at the end of May 2025. He served nearly eight years in this role.
In a joint statement, both Chambers expressed gratitude for Dr. Ashigbey’s leadership. They highlighted his passion, vision, and pursuit of excellence. Under his guidance, the telecommunications and digital financial sectors in Ghana transformed significantly.
His efforts contributed positively to the national economy. The statement noted that Dr. Ashigbey inspired many across various sectors. His tenure was marked by innovation and collaboration with stakeholders.
As they transition leadership, all correspondence about the CEO position should go to the Chairman of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications. Details about appointing a new CEO will be shared later.
The Chambers reaffirmed their commitment to building on Dr. Ashigbey's foundation. They aim to deepen collaboration and advocate for inclusive growth in Ghana. Dr. Ashigbey’s future plans have not been disclosed yet, but they wish him success in his next endeavors.
