Former Assin Central MP, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has encouraged traders who lost their properties in the Adum fire to remain hopeful despite the devastating setback.

Expressing his sympathy, Agyapong acknowledged the emotional and financial toll of the incident. He has dispatched members of his team to assess the extent of the damage as he prepares to return to Ghana.

Upon his arrival, he plans to visit Kumasi and offer support to affected traders, reinforcing his commitment to assisting those impacted by the disaster.

Meanwhile, he remains entangled in an $18 million defamation lawsuit filed by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, a case that continues to draw public interest due to their long-standing feud.
