Ketu South MCE to adopt new appraisal approach to implement govt agenda

Nicholas Kwabla Worklachie is the Ketu South Municipal Chief Executive (MCE). He announced plans to adopt a 360-degree appraisal approach. This method aims to support the government's development agenda in the area.

Worklachie emphasized that local governance requires commitment from all involved. He spoke at a meeting with assembly members about his program for the municipality. He expects timely submission of quarterly reports during his tenure.

The 360-degree feedback method gathers evaluations from various sources. This includes feedback from employees, managers, peers, and customers. It provides a complete view of an employee's strengths and weaknesses.

Worklachie believes this approach fosters personalized development plans. By identifying areas for improvement, it can enhance team performance and engagement. This will help him stay on track with his targets.

He stated that performance standards will be set for committees and party members. A research unit will monitor their performance and report findings. This will help translate theory into practice for self-reflection and coaching.

Worklachie has asked subcommittee members to submit their CVs. They should also provide a one-page summary of their expertise. This will help place them in the appropriate committees.
