King Promise crowned Artiste of the Year at 26th TGMA Awards

Afrobeat star King Promise was the biggest winner at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). He won the prestigious Artiste of the Year title. The event took place on Saturday, May 10, at the Grand Arena in Accra.

The night featured glamour, exciting performances, and tributes to Ghana’s music legends. King Promise faced tough competition from Stonebwoy, Black Sheriff, Kwaku Smoke, King Paluta, Joe Mettle, and Team Eternity. Despite this, he secured the top honor.

Other winners included Beeztrom Kotm for Best New Artiste of the Year. Stonebwoy won Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year. The awards celebrated various talents in Ghana's vibrant music scene.
