Mr. John Jinapor, the Minister of Energy and Green Transition, announced this news. He stated that Kosmos Energy's investment marks a new chapter for Ghana’s energy sector. This chapter focuses on transparency, collaboration, and opportunity.
The announcement took place at the 2025 Africa Energy Forum (AEF). It was during this year’s Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas.
