Kotoka drug allegations baseless without proof – Ernest Norgbey

Ashaiman MP Ernest Henry Norgbey has raised concerns about recent allegations. His colleague, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, made claims about drug trafficking at Kotoka International Airport (KIA).

Fordjour is the Ranking Member of the Defence and Interior Committee. He held a press conference alleging that two flights were involved in illicit activities at KIA. His claims have sparked public debate and raised security questions.

Norgbey questioned the legitimacy of these allegations. He warned about the potential damage to Ghana’s international reputation. Speaking on Channel One Newsroom, he emphasized that such claims need concrete evidence.

He stated, “When you make wild allegations without substantiation, it dents our integrity.” Norgbey criticized Fordjour for going public instead of using proper channels as a legislator.

He asked, “Why go to the media when you have other options?”
