Kozie constructs modern toilet facility for underserved communities in Adjiringanor

Akosua Manu, known as Kozie, is the 2024 NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Adentan. She has opened a modern five-seater toilet facility in Adjiringanor, Greater Accra Region.

This project aims to improve hygiene and sanitation in underserved communities. Many residents have struggled with inadequate toilet infrastructure for years.

The commissioning ceremony took place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. It attracted community members, local leaders, and party supporters. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and celebration.

Kozie expressed her happiness about the project's completion. She called it a meaningful step toward dignity for Adjiringanor residents.

“It fills me with joy to see this promise come to life,” she said.

She emphasized that sanitation is a basic human right. Kozie urged residents to care for the facility and keep it clean.

Community ownership is vital for the success of such initiatives. “I encourage all of us to treat this place as our own,” she added.

Residents warmly welcomed the new facility. Many have faced health risks due to poor sanitation options.

George Andam, a long-time resident, sees the facility as a symbol of hope. “If Ghana had more candidates like Kozie, our communities would thrive,” he said emotionally.

“She listens, delivers, and cares. This toilet will serve generations.” He praised Kozie's commitment to practical leadership focused on people’s needs.
