Kpakpo Allotey confirmed as new MCE of AMA

Mr. Michael Kpakpo Allotey has been confirmed as the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA).

He received 30 votes, which is 100 percent of the total votes cast. The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Ms. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, swore him in.

During the ceremony, Mr. Allotey took three oaths: office, allegiance, and secrecy. He pledged to serve with dignity and integrity.

His confirmation was smooth and orderly. All assembly members wore matching attire during the voting process. This helped ensure a peaceful and successful election.
