Prosper Addo is the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Krachi West. He recently warned the youth about drug abuse dangers.
At the Gulf of Guinea Northern Regions Social Cohesion Project (SOCO) soccer championship, he spoke about the harmful effects of drugs. He noted that drug abuse leads to health issues, crime, and social problems.
Mr. Addo praised the SOCO project for organizing the soccer championship. This event helps create a sense of belonging among young people.
He also called for more recreational facilities. An Astroturf Sports field would give youth a safe space for activities and socializing.
The Kete-Krachi Municipal Police Commander, Superintendent Philip Kwadwo Harmond, also spoke at the event. He highlighted that youth are future leaders and should engage in positive activities. He urged them to avoid drugs.
The event united participants from different clusters. It promoted social cohesion and healthy lifestyles among young people.
