Renowned broadcaster Kwami Sefa Kayi has been recognized by the Paediatric Society of Ghana for his outstanding contributions to neonatal care.

Through his Kokrokoo Charities Foundation and Project 100 initiative, he has donated 62 incubators to hospitals across Ghana, enhancing the survival chances of pre-term babies.

His efforts have benefited major hospitals, including Tamale Teaching Hospital and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Receiving a Citation of Honour at the society’s 2025 AGM, Sefa Kayi expressed gratitude and pledged to intensify his work.

He urged corporate support to expand the initiative, including a planned 60-bed mother’s unit at Ho Teaching Hospital.

Other honorees included Prof. Efua Hesse and journalist Afia Amankwa Tamakloe for their contributions to healthcare.
