La Traditional Council warns encroachers to keep off laboma Beach, Kpeshie Lagoon

The La Traditional Council has warned encroachers at Laboma Beach and Kpeshie Lagoon. They must stay off these sites.

Nii Adjei Koofeh IV, the La Shiketele (Kingmaker), issued this warning last Friday. He stated that developers lack title and authority from landowners. They also do not have permits from the assembly for any developments.

“All those developing at Laboma Beach and Kpeshie Lagoon are encroachers,” he said. “They do not have permission to undertake any development there.”

Nii Koofeh IV visited these areas with a council team. They were joined by members of the La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly (LaDMA) and the La Dade-Kotopon Development Trust. Their goal was to assess the level of encroachment in these locations.
