Labadi Beach Hotel has dismissed claims that it withdrew its legal case against Polo Beach Club, refuting a report by the Daily Guide as misleading.

The hotel's management, Hotel Investments (Ghana) Limited, asserts that the lawsuit against Spartan Ives Limited remains active.

The dispute began in June 2024, when the hotel sued Spartan Ives Limited for allegedly trespassing on 0.54 acres of its land.

A court granted an interim injunction in December 2024, which the hotel claims Spartan Ives Limited defied.

In response, contempt proceedings were initiated, with a hearing set for April 8, 2025.

The hotel clarified that its February 6 withdrawal of an interlocutory injunction motion does not mean case dismissal.

It urges the public to disregard the Daily Guide’s report.
