Lands Commission clarifies Asaase Broadcasting Company not linked to disputed Cantonments property

The Lands Commission has clarified that Asaase Broadcasting Company Limited does not own or occupy the property at No. 7, 5th Circular Road, Cantonments, as alleged by MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

The property is part of a legal dispute between the Judicial Service of Ghana and the Lands Commission.

The land was originally public and developed into government bungalows.

The commission emphasized that Asaase Broadcasting Company’s current location is unrelated to the disputed property.

Furthermore, the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources did not misrepresent facts when responding to the MP’s allegations.
