The Lands Commission held an important meeting on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025. The purpose was to welcome the new Deputy Executive Secretary for Operations, Surv. Anthony Mallen Ntiador.
The meeting took place at the Commission’s Corporate Head Office. It included management members and Regional Lands Officers from across the country.
During the meeting, they welcomed Surv. Ntiador and discussed ways to improve operations. A major topic was decentralizing operations by creating district-level offices.
This decentralization plan comes from the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources. It aims to boost productivity in Ghana’s land administration system.
Management committed to following through with this directive. They stressed the need for collaboration among regional offices for success.
Surv. Ntiador thanked everyone for their warm welcome. He promised to support the Commission’s strategic vision.
He highlighted collaboration and innovation as key to improving land services nationwide. After the meeting, he toured various units within the Corporate Head Office.
This allowed him to introduce himself to staff and build relationships. His approachable leadership style was well received by everyone.
Mr. Ntiador has over twenty years of experience in land management and public sector reform. He is known as a trailblazer in his field.
He will assist the Executive Secretary in achieving strategic objectives during this transformative period. Mr. Ntiador has led national digitization initiatives like automating eJustice and other platforms.
He also developed technology solutions for vehicle testing and elections applications. He holds a Master’s degree in Land Management from Technical University of Munich, Germany.
Additionally, he is an alumnus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). His expertise has been sought by organizations like FAO, GIZ, and World Bank.
As a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors, he brings valuable knowledge and leadership skills. Beyond work, he is a respected community leader in Adenta.
He serves as Presiding Elder at James McKeown Worship Centre and chairs a school PTA. He is also a certified counselor involved in youth mentorship programs.
The Lands Commission believes Surv. Ntiador's experience will greatly aid land administration transformation in Ghana.
