Lawrence Agyekum named Cercle Brugge Player of the Month for March

Ghana international Lawrence Agyekum has been named Player of the Month for March by Cercle Brugge.

He had impressive performances throughout the month. Agyekum played in five games and started all of them. He also scored his first goal for the club.

The 21-year-old scored against Kortrijk in the Relegation Play-Off round. This match was part of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

In addition to his goal, Agyekum provided an assist in that game. This was his first assist in the league this season.

After voting, Agyekum received 56.67% of the votes. He beat Lucas Perrin, who came in second place.

March was a significant month for Agyekum. He received his first international call-up to represent Ghana at senior level.

He made his debut for the Black Stars during a World Cup Qualifier against Chad. The match took place at Accra Sports Stadium.
