Let Me Rebuild PZ Market – Bryan Pleads With Otumfuo

Hon. Bryan Acheampong Addresses Traders

Bryan Acheampong, former Minister for Food and Agriculture, visited traders in Kumasi. He is also the Member of Parliament for Abetifi in the Eastern Region.

During his visit, he donated GHC300,000 to support victims of a recent fire. The fire occurred in the ‘Bule Light’ area of the Kumasi Central Business District.

Acheampong promised to rebuild the market if approved by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA). He told victims to remain calm despite their setbacks.

The fire affected many shops and homes, leaving dozens displaced. Many are struggling to rebuild their lives after this disaster.

Acheampong's donation aims to help the most affected traders revive their businesses. He plans to discuss rebuilding with the Asantehene, Regional Minister, and KMA.

If he receives approval from Otumfuo, he will rebuild within a year. He also urged individuals and organizations to assist the affected traders.

Earlier this year, Acheampong donated GHC500,000 to Kantamanto Market fire victims in Accra. The traders expressed gratitude for his support and called on others to help rebuild their structures.
