Bryan Acheampong Supports Fire Victims in Kumasi

Former Minister Bryan Acheampong donated GHC300,000 to fire victims. The fire occurred in the ‘Bule Light’ area of Kumasi's Central Business District.

Acheampong is also willing to rebuild the market. He will do this if Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly agree.

“I will reconstruct the PZ Market if they consent,” he said. He visited the victims to offer sympathy and encourage them to stay calm.

The fire destroyed many shops and homes, displacing dozens of people. Many are struggling to rebuild their lives after this disaster.

Acheampong aims to help the most affected traders revive their businesses. He plans to discuss rebuilding with local leaders and hopes for approval soon.

If he receives permission from Otumfuo, he promises to rebuild within a year. He also urged individuals and organizations to assist the affected traders.

Earlier this year, Acheampong donated GHC500,000 to Kantamanto Market fire victims in Accra. The traders expressed gratitude for his support and called on others for help.
