Let’s assist the minister – Samuel Dubik Mahama on ECG container saga

Samuel Dubik Mahama, former Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), has called for teamwork. He wants everyone to help find missing ECG containers. These containers are crucial for the company’s operations.

While speaking on the Asaase Breakfast Show, he said, “I will support the minister. I want all of us to support him too.” He emphasized that retrieving these containers is vital for ECG's future plans.

Mahama also addressed concerns about alleged over-procurement. He suggested that incomplete information may have caused misunderstandings. “If you don’t have the full picture, you’ll reach wrong conclusions,” he explained.

He mentioned that documents exist which could clarify the situation regarding procurement issues. Mahama urged people to consider ECG's financial turnaround during his leadership. “The goal is to generate revenue,” he stated.

He called for ongoing support for the Minister of Energy in resolving these issues. “Let’s assist the minister,” he urged again.

Mahama reaffirmed his commitment to accountability during his time at ECG. “I haven’t done anything wrong,” he said confidently. He is ready to explain his actions and decisions while serving at ECG.
