Let’s build a nation that inspires others – Akufo-Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaians to unite in building a nation that inspires the world.

Speaking at the inauguration of the transition team in Accra on Wednesday, December 11, he emphasized the importance of collective efforts and adherence to the Transition Act as power shifts to the newly elected National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.

Highlighting Ghana’s reputation as a beacon of democracy and stability, Akufo-Addo acknowledged the country's progress but stressed the need for continued work. He called for patience, understanding, and faith in Ghana’s institutions, urging citizens to foster unity in diversity and remain committed to national development.

“Let us consolidate our democracy and inspire others with our freedom and progress,” he stated.
