Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has a message for Muslims. He urges them to keep up the positive virtues from Ramadan.
In his Eid ul Fitr message, he congratulated Muslims in Ghana and worldwide. They successfully completed a month-long fast during Ramadan. He emphasized the importance of supporting vulnerable members of society.
"On this blessed occasion of Eid ul Fitr, Hajia Samira and I send our warmest congratulations," he wrote on social media. "May Almighty Allah accept our prayers and bless us all."
He encouraged everyone to continue showing kindness, especially to the poor and vulnerable. "Eid Mubarak," he added.
Dr. Bawumia also joined fellow Muslims for Eid ul Fitr prayers at Burma Camp in Accra.
