Korle Klottey MP, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, has urged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to maintain humility and integrity as they prepare to assume office following their December 7 election victory.
Speaking at the 43rd anniversary of the December 31st Revolution, Dr. Zanetor warned that arrogance could lead to the party's downfall and emphasized the need to uphold the principles of the revolution that shaped Ghana's democracy.
She highlighted the strong foundations laid by her late father, Jerry John Rawlings, and the NDC, stating that these have prevented Ghana from descending into chaos.
Dr. Zanetor encouraged the incoming government to honor this legacy while individuals and civil society organizations are calling for accountability and efforts to curb corruption. The NDC will officially assume power on January 7, 2025.
