President John Dramani Mahama emphasized that security is a shared responsibility. Every citizen must help keep the country safe.
He noted that citizens should not view security services as the only protectors. The current threats to our state require everyone's involvement.
Mahama urged citizens to avoid raising false alarms. He referenced Aesop’s fable about the shepherd boy who cried wolf.
“Behaving like that boy distracts our security services,” he said. This distraction prevents them from focusing on their critical job of keeping us safe.
