Edward Ekow Obeng Kenzo recently met with VRA employees at the Anwomaso 1 Thermal Power Plant in Kumasi. He reaffirmed his commitment to revitalizing the Authority.
Kenzo urged all staff to unite for a common goal: making the VRA great again. His visit allowed both unionized and senior staff to engage in discussions. They raised concerns and shared ideas on career development and organizational progress.
He emphasized that every employee plays a vital role in the VRA’s success. This includes those in administration, finance, engineering, and technical roles. “When each of us understands our contribution, achieving our goals becomes easier,” he stated.
A key highlight of his visit was announcing government-approved expansion projects for thermal plants. These projects are set to begin soon. Kenzo expressed optimism about these developments boosting Ghana’s electricity generation capacity.
This aligns with the government’s directive for the VRA to lead in national energy security.
