Ga Traditional Council Summons 15 Churches for Noise Violations

The Ga Mashie Traditional Council has summoned 15 churches. This includes Lighthouse Chapel and Calvary Baptist Church. They are being questioned for violating the noise-making ban.

Asafoatse Mankatta leads the task force enforcing this ban. He reported that churches were clapping during services, which breaks the rules.

When the task force delivered summons letters, some churches refused to accept them. Mankatta expressed surprise at Calvary Baptist Church's actions. He noted they were making noise as if there were no consequences.

Church authorities must appear before the Council on Thursday, May 22. Mankatta warned of serious consequences if they do not comply.
