Today's Newsfile focuses on the GH₵49.1 million National Signals Bureau issue.
Former NSB boss Kwabena Adu-Boahene claims funds went to various groups. These include Members of Parliament, an opposition party, and a special aide to President Mahama for vehicle purchases.
The program will also discuss President Mahama’s new Code of Conduct. This was unveiled on May 5, 2025.
The 66-page document has strict rules against conflicts of interest. It requires asset declarations and bans state asset purchases over GH₵20,000 without disclosure. The code aims to promote transparency and integrity in public service.
Newsfile will review Mahama’s first 120 days in office. This is part of his “Resetting Ghana” agenda.
Key initiatives include forming a leaner government and abolishing burdensome taxes. Major environmental and job-creation programs were launched as well. The National Economic and Education Dialogues were also established to rebuild trust with Ghanaians.
