Lordina Mahama celebrates Ghanaian mothers with heartfelt Mother’s Day message

On Mother's Day, former First Lady H.E. Lordina Dramani Mahama shared a heartfelt message. She celebrated Ghanaian women for their strength and sacrifices. She highlighted their vital role in building the nation.

In her message, she said, “Today is an opportunity to pause and honour the incredible strength, unwavering love, and countless sacrifices that mothers make daily.” She described mothers as the pillars of homes and the heartbeat of the nation.

Lordina emphasized that family well-being is linked to national progress. She echoed her husband John Mahama’s vision for a better future. “Creating an environment where every Ghanaian family can prosper is paramount,” she stated.

She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting women through the Lordina Foundation. “We will continue empowering women with skills training and economic support,” she noted. She also mentioned advocating for women's rights and supporting vulnerable groups.
