Private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu has raised concerns over the appointment of Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba as Minister of State for Public Sector Reforms, questioning her qualifications for the role.
Appearing on Joy FM, Kpebu pointed out that Akanvariba, a health practitioner and MP for Tempane, lacks formal education in public sector reforms and the practical experience needed to lead such a crucial ministry.
He emphasized that her credentials do not align with the expectations of the role, calling for clarity from President John Dramani Mahama on the rationale behind her appointment. Kpebu’s remarks reflect growing public scrutiny over key political appointments.
