MCE of Accra opens new storage facility at Mamprobi Hospital

The Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Accra, Mr. Michael Kpakpo Allotey, inaugurated a new storage facility at Mamprobi Hospital. This facility is in the Ablekuma South Sub-Metropolitan District of Greater Accra. It aims to improve the hospital's ability to manage medical supplies and enhance healthcare delivery.

The new facility includes two administrative offices, a washroom, and an air-conditioned storage area. This space is designed to keep hospital consumables in optimal conditions.

During a brief ceremony on Monday, Mr. Allotey acknowledged the space constraints at Mamprobi Hospital. He assured stakeholders that further improvements would be made to healthcare infrastructure in the city.

After receiving an update from the AMA Coordinating Director about the project, he decided to open the facility to the public next Monday. He emphasized its urgency and importance for hospital operations.

Mr. Allotey reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery in Accra. He promised critical upgrades and renovations across the metropolis for quality and accessible healthcare for all residents.
