MP for Okaikwei Central donates GH₵50,000 and cement to Adum fire victims in Kumasi

Patrick Yaw Bomah, the MP for Okaikwei Central, has made a donation. He gave GH₵50,000 and 200 bags of cement to traders affected by a fire in Kumasi.

Mr. Bomah visited the area on Monday. He was accompanied by Kofi Obiri Yeboah, the MP for Subin Constituency. NPP regional executives and constituency chairmen also supported the visit.

This donation supports efforts from other political leaders and philanthropists. They have helped over 10,000 traders whose businesses were destroyed in the fire.

During his visit, Mr. Bomah expressed sorrow over the damage. He assured traders he would donate another GH₵50,000 when market redevelopment begins.

He offered words of encouragement to the traders. "A situation like this is when love is demonstrated the most," he said. The MP stressed the importance of unity among traders during this tough time.

Mr. Bomah urged those handling donations to act with integrity. He wants to ensure aid reaches those who need it most.
