MTN FA Cup 2024/25: Kotoko reach final with late winner against Berekum Chelsea 

Asante Kotoko has reached the final of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup. They won narrowly against Berekum Chelsea.

Albert Amoah scored a late goal, securing a 1-0 victory. This win advances the Porcupine Warriors to the final.

Both teams entered the semifinal after recent wins. Kotoko defeated True Democracy 2-1, while Chelsea beat Bechem United 1-0.

The first half ended without any goals. Both teams struggled to find the net.

The second half continued in a similar manner. The teams were evenly matched throughout.

With eight minutes left, Amoah made the difference. He headed in Baba Yahaya’s cross to score.

Chelsea tried to respond but could not equalize. As a result, Kotoko moves on to face Golden Kick FC in the final.
