MTN FA Cup: 8 Catch Them Young Referees appointed to officiate quarterfinal games

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed eight referees. They will officiate MTN FA Cup games this weekend.

These referees will oversee the quarter-final matches. The matches are Attram De Visser vs. Pac Academy, and Karela United vs. Golden Kick.

The games are set for Baba Yara Sports Stadium on March 29 and 30, 2025.

Earlier this year, I evaluated the Catch Them Young Refereeing policy. Now, eight referees from that program will officiate in the quarter-finals.

Angelous Akurugu Adonko will lead the match between Attram De Visser and Pac Academy. He will be assisted by Abraham Partey (Assistant I), Philip Amoh (Assistant II), and Theophilus Antwi Sekyi (Fourth Official).

Kingsford Oteng Yeboah will officiate Karela United vs. Golden Kick FC on Sunday. His assistants are Joseph Teye Awasasi (Assistant I), Haruna Yakubu (Assistant II), and Alex Amoabeng (Fourth Official).

Mr. Alex Kotey will serve as the Match Commissioner for both games.

These young referees have performed exceptionally well this season. Their success in the Access Bank Division One League and Ghana Premier League earned them these appointments.
