Maham nominates DCEs for Eastern Region

President John Mahama has nominated 33 people as District Chief Executives (DCEs) for the Eastern Region.

This action follows Article 243 (1) of the 1992 Constitution. It also aligns with the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936).

The nominations now await approval from the District Assemblies.

The nominees will undergo vetting in the coming weeks.

They need approval from their respective District Assemblies.
