Lawyer and governance expert Kwame Jantuah praised the president’s 120-day action plan. However, he warned that success depends on implementation and leadership quality.
Speaking on The Forum on Asaase Radio, Jantuah recognized the president's commitment to the plan. He commended the president's vigilance and serious approach to execution.
“The president has an eagle eye on implementation,” he said. “If you step out of line, he will ensure your removal.”
Jantuah emphasized that planning is important, but follow-through is crucial. “For me, it’s not just about planning. It’s about implementation — that’s where the real challenge lies.”
He noted that after considering suggestions, the president created a 120-day strategy for reforms. “He agreed and came up with a 120-day plan — and he has stuck to it,” Jantuah stated.
He raised a key question: Are those chosen to lead truly aligned with his vision?
As Ghanaians await results from this ambitious plan, Jantuah urged patience. He also stressed the need for accountability and tangible outcomes.
“He has only four years. Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt,” he concluded. “But he must ensure capable structures and personnel are in place.”
The 120-day plan represents one of the administration's boldest moves yet. As Jantuah pointed out, success ultimately depends on execution.
