He stated that President John Dramani Mahama supports this initiative. The minister shared this information during his visit to the Ashanti Regional Police Headquarters.

Mubarak assured police officers that their welfare is a top priority. He promised to address all challenges facing the police service.

In a Facebook post, he described his visit as a familiarization trip. He wanted to understand police operations in Asanteman better. He thanked officers for their service, especially during the 2024 general elections.

Mubarak conveyed President Mahama's vision of using technology against crime. This includes implementing body cameras for police operations. He emphasized that police welfare is crucial and pledged support for personnel.

He tasked the Ashanti Regional Police commander with collaborating with the Manhyia Divisional Command. Their goal is to eliminate Tinker Island, a known drug hub in Kumasi, within six months.

Finally, he expressed gratitude for the warm reception from the police hierarchy at the Regional Command.
