Mahama Fuseini confirmed as Central Gonja DCE

Mahama Fuseini has been confirmed as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Central Gonja District.

His confirmation occurred on Monday, April 14, 2025. This followed a vote by assembly members. Out of 43 votes cast, Fuseini received 42 'Yes' votes and one 'No' vote. This means he had about 98% approval from the assembly.

In his acceptance speech, Fuseini promised to support President John Dramani Mahama's development agenda in the district.

His nomination was part of a larger list of appointments by President Mahama. These included several nominees from various regions. The nominations were announced in late March 2025 and needed approval from their respective assemblies.
