President John Dramani Mahama has departed Accra for Germany to attend the Munich Security Conference, where he will participate in high-level discussions on global security.
Scheduled from February 12 to 17, his trip will also include attending the African Union (AU) Conference in Ethiopia.
Presidential Spokesman Felix Kwakye Ofosu highlighted Mahama’s role as Chairman of the Tana Forum, emphasizing the need for African leaders to contribute to evolving security strategies.
While in Munich, Mahama will engage in bilateral talks with world leaders on strengthening Ghana’s international partnerships.
Additionally, he will speak at a Tana Forum side event, sharing insights on Africa’s emerging security challenges and global cooperation efforts.
