Mahama begins 'Thank-You' tour of Bono East, Bono and Ahafo regions

President John Dramani Mahama has started a Thank-You tour. The tour began today, Thursday, May 29, in the Bono East Region.

The purpose of the tour is to thank the people for their support. This support was shown during the December 2024 general elections.

During his visit, President Mahama will address a durbar of chiefs and citizens. He plans to reaffirm his commitment to inclusive governance and fair development.

On Friday, May 29, President Mahama will continue his tour in Sunyani. Sunyani is the capital of the Bono Region. He will conclude this part of the tour on Saturday, May 30, with a grand durbar in Goaso. Goaso is the regional capital of Ahafo.

The Presidency states that this tour shows President Mahama’s promise to stay connected with citizens. It aims to ensure that people's voices influence national development priorities.
