Mahama calls for greater representation of women in science and technology

President John Mahama has called for more representation of women in science and technology.

He highlighted the need for increased opportunities for women in these fields. Women are often underrepresented in science and technology careers.

"It is imperative that academic institutions promote gender-inclusive policies," he stated. He urged schools to expand opportunities for women to excel.

Mahama spoke at the tenth anniversary of the African Centres for Higher Education. The event took place at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra on April 7.
