President John Mahama praised the Czech Republic for supporting Ghana’s healthcare.
On April 8, he spoke to the media after Czech President Petr Pavel's visit.
Mahama highlighted the Czech Republic’s role in the VAMID Health Project.
This partnership helped build a hospital with 1,240 beds. It also provided 12 semi-detached houses for hospital staff.
“These developments have benefited many communities in Ghana,” he said.
The communities include Suame, Kwabeng, Achiase, Sabronomu, Adu Krom, and Kpong Katamanso.
He expressed gratitude for this support. He emphasized its importance for healthcare infrastructure.
“This partnership has made a significant impact,” he added.
Mahama looks forward to further collaboration to strengthen healthcare in Ghana.
