President-elect John Dramani Mahama has launched an anti-corruption initiative, forming a team to receive public reports on suspected acts of corruption.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, December 18, and signed by the Mahama Transition Team’s Spokesperson, the group is tasked with ensuring public resources are responsibly managed.
Chaired by North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the team includes former Auditor-General Daniel Domelevo, retired COP Nathaniel Kofi Boakye, legal expert Martin Kpebu, and investigative journalist Raymond Archer.
This initiative, part of Mahama’s commitment to tackling corruption, aims to rebuild public trust and bolster anti-corruption institutions by fostering citizen participation in holding public officials accountable.
