Mahama gov’t awarding School feeding contracts to ‘Slay Queens’ – NPP vice Chairman alleges

Alhaji Osman Masawudu, the third National Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), made shocking claims. He alleged that the John Mahama government is giving school feeding contracts to "Slay Queens."

Speaking on Original TV, he said, “The NDC has taken school feeding and given it to their girlfriends and slay queens.” He emphasized his belief by swearing to God. He mentioned a girl who threatened NDC leaders if they allowed a Slay Queen in her constituency.

Masawudu criticized the NDC for being ungrateful to Ghanaians. He urged John Mahama to fulfill his promise of providing jobs for youth quickly.

On May 2, 2025, the Ghana School Feeding Programme announced contract terminations. They stated that all caterers engaged in the program would be terminated immediately. No existing caterer should cook for the third term of the 2024/2025 academic year.

The statement also mentioned that outstanding payments for the second term would be settled soon. The GSFP Secretariat will announce new recruitment procedures for caterers shortly.

In related news, actress Vivian Jill is reportedly involved in an NDC dispute over a school feeding contract. She has faced threats after being awarded a contract in Ahafo Ano South Constituency.

An audio recording revealed a warning from an NDC Women's Organiser. She stated she would harm Vivian Jill if she attempted to fulfill her contract.
