Former Asante Akim North MP, Andy Appiah-Kubi, has praised President John Mahama’s ministerial nominations for the Finance, Energy, and Attorney General portfolios.

Speaking on JoyNews’ Upfront on January 9, he commended the President’s commitment to prioritizing competence and integrity in his appointments.

“I’m very happy that the President has been careful in selecting his ministers. He has demonstrated diligence and prioritized merit,” Appiah-Kubi noted.

President Mahama nominated Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson as Finance Minister-designate, John Abdulai Jinapor as Energy Minister-designate, and Dominic Akuritinga Ayine as Attorney General-designate.

All three previously served as deputies in similar roles under the NDC administration.

Appiah-Kubi expressed confidence in their qualifications, describing them as the right choices to lead their respective ministries effectively.
