Businessman Seidu Agongo praised President John Mahama's kindness. He said Mahama would even help his enemies.
In a recent interview with Metro TV, Agongo shared an example. During Mahama's first term, he helped opposition MP Kennedy Agyapong. Agyapong had locked-up funds from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG). Mahama personally intervened to ensure Agyapong received his money.
Agongo expressed hope for the new government. He referred to Mahama as "Bro John." He admires Mahama for his ability to connect with everyone, including opponents. “It’s hard to know you are an enemy when talking to him,” Agongo explained.
He emphasized that Mahama supports everyone in their growth. Agongo stated he has never heard Mahama criticize anyone publicly.
To support his claims, Agongo shared a secret about Agyapong's funds. He mentioned that Agyapong's money was locked due to business dealings with ECG. When Agyapong approached Mahama, he made sure the payment was released under the NDC government.
Agongo noted that Mahama acted not just for Agyapong but for business reasons. He recognized that Agyapong’s success impacts many lives. Despite past tensions between them, Mahama chose to help.
Agongo concluded by highlighting Mahama's vision for Ghana. He believes in building a legacy and making Ghana self-sufficient. Every appointment made by Mahama emphasizes serving the people of Ghana.
