Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Aide to President-elect John Mahama, has praised Mahama as a decent leader with the country's best interests at heart.
She emphasized that despite facing years of propaganda and criticism, Mahama is capable of delivering positive change if given the right support.
Mogtari expressed that Mahama, who has made a historic return to the presidency, was unfairly maligned during his time in opposition.
With a focus on job creation, fighting corruption, empowering women, and improving living conditions, Mahama secured a landslide victory in the 2024 elections.
Mahama is set to meet outgoing President Nana Akufo-Addo on December 11 to establish a joint transitional team.
