Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams leads Action Chapel International. He recently spoke about President John Dramani Mahama.
Duncan-Williams stated that Mahama is neither arrogant nor vindictive. He described the President as a humble man. Some actions against Mahama have hurt him deeply.
During a sermon, Duncan-Williams shared his thoughts on Mahama's character. He said, “President John Dramani Mahama is a very humble man.” He emphasized that Mahama does not hold grudges.
Duncan-Williams recalled an incident involving someone who insulted Mahama in the past. Instead of reacting negatively, Mahama embraced this person warmly. The Archbishop noted how impressive this was.
He mentioned a recent meeting where the two interacted. The individual was unsure how to approach Mahama but received a hug instead. Duncan-Williams remarked that this showed true statesmanship.
Later, the individual asked Duncan-Williams about the hug's meaning. He explained it signified that Mahama is bigger and better than past insults.
In another statement, Duncan-Williams praised President Mahama’s intentions for Ghana. He described him as selfless and without greed. “This guy (Mahama) means well for this country,” he told his congregation.
The Archbishop’s comments highlight his support for the President amidst challenges.
