President John Dramani Mahama will join African Union (AU) Heads of State and Governments for a special meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, on Monday.
Hosted by Kenyan President William Ruto, the Chair of AU Reforms, the retreat will focus on advancing critical reforms ahead of the upcoming AU summit in Addis Ababa.
The discussions are also expected to emphasize Kenya’s push for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to be elected as the next Chairperson of the African Union Commission.
