Minister for Defence, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, praised President John Mahama. He believes the President aims to create lasting change during his term.
In a Facebook post on Monday, April 28, Dr. Boamah expressed confidence in the President’s commitment. He noted that Mahama is focused on building a strong legacy for Ghana.
Dr. Boamah highlighted upcoming initiatives this week. He announced two major programs to empower youth and small businesses.
The first program is called Adwumawura. It targets 10,000 young business owners and launches today, April 28, 2025.
The second initiative is the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP). This program will train tens of thousands of youth in various skills on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
Adwumawura aims to support young entrepreneurs in expanding their businesses. This will help them contribute meaningfully to the economy.
Meanwhile, NAP will provide skills development across different trades. It seeks to enhance employability and promote self-sufficiency among the youth.
