Mahama names new DCEs for approval across 3 regions

President John Mahama has nominated new District Chief Executives (DCEs).

This is in accordance with Article 243 of the 1992 Constitution. It also follows the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936) as amended.

The nominations were announced in an official statement. The statement was signed by Callitus Mahama, Secretary to the President.

These nominations require approval from the respective District Assemblies.

The latest appointments cover three regions: Savannah, Bono East, and Greater Accra. The list includes several nominees for these districts.
